Human Resource Assistant

Spanish Peaks Regional Health Center's Human Resource Department is seeking a skilled HR Assistant to work a full time schedule. In addition to customer service/reception duties in the SPRHC Administration Office, the successful candidate will have advanced skills in the use of Microsoft Office Suite applications, including Word, Excel, Publisher, and Access, as well as the Internet. Experience using software to create and maintain tables, forms, reports, databases & flyers; excellent telephone, keyboard and organizational skills are all required. Job functions include day-to-day HR duties including; responsibility for coordination of meetings, filing, and maintenance of employment records. Additionally, the successful candidate will prepare reports, take meeting minutes, and provide direct support to members of the HR Department. A minimum of 2 years of administrative-level clerical experience is required. Specific experience working in an HR Department is preferred. Outreach Clinic - Outreach Worker

The Outreach Clinic seeks a part-time Outreach Worker to focus on coordinating family support systems, distributing educational material and updating electronic databases. This position is grant-funded and will be scheduled 24 hours a week. The individual in this position will be proficient in computer programs including Publisher, Word and Excel, experience maintaining online databases, knowledge of medical homes and coordinating health information programs, the ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, organize daily tasks, answer telephone calls in a concise and professional manner and have knowledge of community organizing. The person is this position must be able to work independently with minimal supervision and the ability to communicate effectively with management and coworkers in written and oral form. A background in health education is preferred, but not required. Also preferred is a candidate who is bilingual.
