Medical Technologist

Spanish Peaks Regional Health Center, located at the foot of the Spanish Peaks has an opening in the Laboratory Department for a full-time Medical Technologist. Qualified applicant must possess an Associates or Bachelor degree in a chemical, physical or biological science or medical technology field from an accredited institution and have national certification or registration as a Medical Technologist. Applicant must have at least one year experience working in a clinical laboratory in all clinical laboratory disciplines and have experience with clinical laboratory analyzers and laboratory information systems. This position will work predominately day shift with an occasional evening or night shift and some weekends. Surgery Manager

The Spanish Peaks Regional Health Center's Surgery Department has need for a full-time Surgery Manager. Successful applicants must have graduated from an approved school of nursing and have a valid State of Colorado or Compact State license with a minimum of an Associate's Degree and current BLS, ACLS and PALS. Two years-experience in the pre-operative setting required. Candidate should possess the ability to navigate an electronic health record and use various patient monitoring devices. Understanding and familiarity with various instruments and equipment used in anesthesia, general surgery, orthopedic surgery, gynecologic surgery, and endoscopy also preferred. Monday thru Friday with some holidays required.
