Pharmacy Department - Pharmacist

Spanish Peaks Hospital has need for a full-time Pharmacist to supervise the Hospital's Pharmacy operations. Applicants are required to be a graduate of a college of Pharmacy accredited by the American Council on Pharmaceutical Education, currently licensed to practice in Colorado, and possess a minimum 2-years of experience working in a hospital. Duties of this position include the supervision of a full-time FTE, overseeing policy and procedure compliance and development, managing the department budget, and attending meetings as required. This is an exciting position in an atmosphere where quality patient care and professional growth is fostered. Some holiday and weekend work required. Infection Control Nurse

Spanish Peaks Veterans Community Living Center has a need for an Infection Control Nurse. Responsibilities include managing the education process of the Infection Control program for Long Term Care employees, assistance in the development and implementation of infection control measures and assuring that infection control policies and procedures are reviewed, revised, and approved annually. Serves on committees to address and report statistics and participates in infection control and quality assurance studies. Successful candidate will be a graduate of an accredited nursing program with a current active Colorado or Compact State RN license, three years clinical or LTC experience, with supervisory and teaching experience preferable. This position requires an individual with a strong clinical background including knowledge of infection control, quality assurance and quality improvement as well as nursing home rules and regulations. This position will require some weekend and holiday shifts.
