If you are planning a visit to Spanish Peaks Regional Health Center/Veterans Community Living Center on Tuesday, October 3rd, please take note of a few entrance updates due to construction. Please use the main entrance for VCLC, Café, Business Office, Information Desk, Gift Shop, Administration, HR, Rehab and New Registration for Rehab Patients.
All Laboratory, Radiology, and Surgical Patients please enter through the Outpatient entrance, closest to the ER. You will present and register in the waiting room area near the Retail Pharmacy and will use the waiting room door for entrance to these areas.
The Outpatient Entrance will have NO through access beyond the waiting room near Surgery.

We are going to start our parking lot reseal coating on Monday, September 11th. It will start on the far North Parking Lot and will work its way down to the main building. We will do the Family Clinic and Dialysis parking lot on a Saturday when clinic is closed, not to conflict with the 2nd and 4th Saturday walk-in clinic. It may take a couple of days per section.

New flooring will be installed over the Memorial Day weekend, please plan accordingly if visiting or working in our facility.
Retail Pharmacy/Outpatient Entrance will be OPEN on Friday, May 26th only. It will be CLOSED starting Saturday-Monday. Please use the main entrance.

As we continue our progress with our "Operation Elevation" construction project at Spanish Peaks Regional Health Center we would like to share the schedule for next week.
Please use the Outpatient Entrance near the Retail Pharmacy to enter the facility starting on Wednesday, May 17th at 7:00 a.m. as the main entrance will be closed for 24 hours.

Renovation "Operation Elevation" will begin tomorrow Monday, April 3, 2023, at Spanish Peaks Regional Health Center and Veterans Community Living Center. Phase one includes the construction of the cafeteria and dining hall in the Veterans Community Living Center on the second floor. First-floor renovations will take place in the waiting room and Spanish Peaks Cafe and dining area. Spanish Peaks Cafe will be closed to the public for approximately one month.
We apologize for the inconvenience and promise you it will be worth the wait with a fresh look and feel. Construction updates will be updated both on Facebook and sprhc.org, please stay tuned for more.

Spanish Peaks Regional Health Center and Veterans Community Living Center will undergo a makeover starting April 3, 2023. Using funds received during COVID for facility improvements, the Hospital and Community Living Center will get a much-needed facelift that also improves patient and resident safety.
"Our highest priority is patient and resident safety and experience. We are excited to elevate our facility and continue meeting our mission to Improve the Lives We Touch for our residents, patients, community, and visitors of Huerfano County," said Kay Whitley, CEO of Spanish Peaks Regional Health Center. "Operation Elevation" will enhance public spaces throughout the facility. Upgrades include new flooring, lights, fixtures, and furniture. Improvements will ensure that we maintain safe, clean spaces for our patients, residents, and the community. The construction project may take up to a year to complete. "Having an environment that we can maintain is important," said Antone Aldretti, Facilities Director. "It ensures our spaces can withstand the required cleaning for patient and resident safety." "This is a long-lasting investment in our facility," added Colette Martin, Chief Financial Officer.
Visitors should expect impacts, please keep up to date with www.sprhc.org, Spanish Peaks Regional Health Center & Spanish Peaks Veterans Community Living Center Facebook Pages for the latest entrance details, closures, etc. Signage in the facility will also designate construction areas. Spanish Peaks will communicate construction updates and share information as it progresses through this project.
